Job Opening for Business Analyst
Job Functions:
- Gather technical/functional requirements
- Prepare detailed documentation
- Fully understand software application
- Interact with Implementation, Development & Quality assurance teams to gather requirements.
Mandatory Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with business software applications (Word, Excel, etc)
- Must work well as a team member and individually
- Strong SQL skills (must be experienced at writing queries)
- Experience gathering business/technical requirements
- Experience writing large technical documents
Desired Skills:
- Background in HR, Payroll, or Time & Attendance
- Familiarity with at least one report writer such as Crystal Reports, Cognos, Actuate, etc.
- Experience implementing or working with packaged HRMS software systems, i.e. PeopleSoft, Kronos, Lawson, Oracle, SAP, etc
- Programming experience utilizing any 4GL language and/or stored procedures
