Job Opening for Project Manager

Job Functions:

The Project Manager position involves administering multiple large-scale time and attendance system implementations. You will be responsible for managing all stages of the implementation; and for working directly with the customer and their management to reconcile conflicts between the project scope and budget. Although you will not formally manage a team of consultants, you will work closely with our implementation team to direct the work on our customers' projects in a highly matrix environment.

Mandatory Skills:

• At least five successful years managing multiple concurrent software implementation / integration (or similar) projects.
• Experience implementing or working with packaged software systems such as the HRMS applications from PeopleSoft, Lawson, Oracle, Kronos, Ceridian, ADP or SAP is a definite plus.
• Experience with projects involving outside customers and administration of contractual deliverables and timelines.
• Proven ability to manage customer expectations and keep projects within scope and budget.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to coordinate large numbers of independent tasks.
• Prior history of managing multiple simultaneous projects, with shared resources.
• Familiar with creating and maintaining detailed project plans, status reports, and financial analyses.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• A candidate must be open to occasional travel to customer sites.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working with external customers in long term support mode, managing problem tracking and issues resolution.
• Experience with Microsoft Project is highly desirable.
• A familiarity with general business applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SQL would be useful, but is not required.
